In lectures I often state that we do not have a science of personality. Whilst this was a central focus of early psychology studies, the idea has lost its preeminence in the field. Now, the area is often abandon to different schools of thought rather than a legitimate area of study in itself. Therefore I was interested in this recent theoretical study of personality structure. It reveals the multiple layers that comprise the self. No hard data, but an interesting model. To read the review click here.
