It was a delight to speak at the Primary Care Child Safeguarding Conference last week. PCCSF is an independent professional organisation set up to support doctors with an interest or involvement in protecting and safeguarding children and is affiliated to the Alliance of Primary Care Societies from the Royal College of General Practitioners. There were a range of interesting speakers including the challenges of working with international school boards, the challenges of Faith Based Abuse and the new computer simulator games for safe guarding. I was discussing substance abuse and mental health. These presentations were recorded and will be available to members shortly. For more information on the work of the PCCSF click here.
